How to cook Beef Hotpot

Step 1: Marinate beef tripe

Put the beef intestines in a bowl with the following spices: 1 teaspoon Five Spice Powder , 1 teaspoon Curry Powder , 1 teaspoon Salt, 1 teaspoon Rock Sugar, 1 teaspoon Annatto Oil, 1 teaspoon MSG, 1 tablespoon Ground Chili , 1 tablespoon Turmeric Powder, 2 tablespoons Sugar and 1 tablespoon Seasoning Powder.

Then, use your hands to mix well so that the beef intestines absorb the spices and marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Stir-fry beef

Add a little cooking oil to the pan, over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the onion and garlic and fry until golden brown.

Next, add minced ginger and lemongrass, stir well, then add 1 cinnamon stick and star anise and stir-fry until fragrant. Then, add all the marinated beef intestines, stir-fry until the beef intestines are firm.

Tip: You should stir-fry the spices thoroughly to extract all the essential oils before adding the marinated beef intestines.

Step 3: Add coconut water

Add Fresh Coconut Water, turn on high heat until the broth boils, then simmer over medium heat for 1 hour. Then, add the prepared Coconut Milk, stir well and increase the heat to high. When the stew boils, turn off the heat.

Tip: Do not add coconut milk at the beginning because it will easily separate.

Decorate the dish and enjoy

A bowl of hot, crispy, fragrant braised offal with the aroma of coconut milk and the slight spiciness of cinnamon, star anise and five-spice powder. Garnish with a little Vietnamese coriander and sliced chili to make the dish look more appetizing.
