Let’s be together making this Tet holiday more “various” and “assimilative” with Vegetarian Spring rolls.
Ingredients:
50 gr mung bean
50 gr taros
50 gr yams
A packet of popiah pancake
Some wood ear mushrooms and carrots
Step 1: Subject ingredients to preliminary treatment
Firstly, wash taros, yams, carrots and cut them into slices. After that, soaking all of these ingredients in salty water about 15 minutes, then put them in a bowl to dry it.
Mung bean also cleaned and soaked in 30 minutes, later crushed and steamed it.
Next, soak the wood ear mushrooms - about 15 to 30 minutes, then cut the root, and cut them into slices.
And finally, mixed all of those ingredients above, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of seasoning and about a half of teaspoon of crushed peppers
Step 2: Stir-fry
After finishing the marinated ingredients, add oil and stir-fry the ingredients to make the vegetables can easier to ripen. Continuing to stir-fry until it becomes soft and scented, then turn off the stove.
Step 3: Roll and fry
Spread out the pancake in a chopping board or tray, then let the ingredients has been stir-fry before on the edge of the pancake and roll it gently.
Afterwards, sweep a layer of cooking oil on the surface so that when frying it, it will not stick to the pan.
Next, add cooking oil to a pan(cooking oil must be filled with spring rolls). When the oil is boiling, add the spring rolls and fry it, turn the sides continuously to make it ripen.
Step 4: Enjoy
Set spring rolls in a plate to remove oil. You can eat spring rolls combined with noodles or rice. Especially, sauce cannot be missed while eating this, Green Sriracha Sauce with a spicy and garlic flavour or using Passion Sweet and Sour Sauce which is mixed between sweet and sour taste as it is called would be our suggestion. Besides, you can save time and create the new flavour as well to make your meal become perfectly. Furthermore, these both products are suitable for vegetarian.
So, what are you waiting for?! Let’s add it into the list of dishes must be done in Tet holiday this upcoming.
Wish you success and appetite.
